AGH Pod Pre-Trailer

So for all the years of education that I have, an architecture and there are many. Podcasting is not something that I was ever trained in. Now I imagine that maybe the current generation of architects have Learned how to podcast. But for those of us over here in the regular world, starting a podcast is truly a herculean and effort. And while flexing my muscles like Hercules, I'm super psyched to be in the process of launching my podcast. Of course, our technology is not currently cooperating and I had promised myself that by today [June 6, 2025] I would have something out there. So this is my something. It's a start and it is the reason that this is coming to you as a voice recording and not a podcast. We're going to have several trailers in the coming weeks. So let's consider this a pre-trailer. Let me begin with an explanation of why I'm here and where I'm hoping to go with you in tow. For years, men have been left out of the conversation of interior design, presumed to be uninterested or incapable of expressing what they truly want in their homes.I'm here to debunk this assumption. Research shows that men and women think and interact differently with the built environment. That is due to the fact that women are more likely to feel physical threat from their surroundings, and therefore they record it, they think about it, they talk about it. Men, on the other hand, often lack this language because they haven't needed it. Their physical safely, safety is rarely in jeopardy unless they're actually being chased by a lion.
